Early Life and Education
Mark Bell was born on December 10, 1976, which makes his age be 42 years old as of 2018. His place of birth is in Sacramento, CA. The powerlifter was born to the parents named Rosemary Bell and Sheldon Bell. His brother Chris is too a powerlifter known for 2008’s documentary film Bigger, Stronger, Faster.
At the age of twelve, Bell started lifting weights and after a year he went for his first powerlifting meet. When he completed his graduation from the high school, he was already a successful athlete and was named as one of the strongest teenage powerlifters in the United States of America. He made numbers of state records and was holding multiple national records by the time he completed his high school level. Career and Professional Life
After completing his high school graduation, Bell focused on pursuing his wrestling career. He was a self-determined person and prepared his own training routine with the workout activities like body weight circuits, hill running, interval-type cardio on treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and rowers. He was most popular by the ring name “Smelly” and turned as the two-time Ultimate Pro Wrestling Champion. He has made a successful experience in the professional wrestling career but as of now, he is already retired from it.
While carrying his wrestling career, he took powerlifting profession side by side to wrestle. He used to strength training by lifting heavy weights. During his peak wrestling career, he impressed every audience by benching 500 lbs raw at 240 lbs body weight. He gained more success in powerlifting than in wrestling. He mainly competed in the United States Powerlifting Federation. He was guided by Louie Simmons with Westside Barbell Team before moving to Sacramento for two years. He retired from competitive powerlifting in 2014 which was announced in the month of March in his podcast.

Mark is the founder of Super Training Gym, He has hosted numerous guest in Super Training Gym including Eric Spoto, Ed Coan and Stan Efferding. With his innovative minds, he has developed a device named Slingshot which is useful for assisting a lifter in maintaining proper bench press form. It also helps the lifter o overload either in weight or reps. This device is available in four different variations like the Full Boar, the Mad Dog, the Reactive and the Original.
He is also hosting a podcast named the Powercast with Jim McDonald. On every week, new episodes are released. Further, he has also stepped into the field of music where he has a music video entitled “Meathead Millionaire”. It was noticed that Bell and his partner Jim McDonald have split but the reason is not available.
