In November 2000, Arthur had his first professional contest at the Wythenshawe forum in Manchester where he defeated his fellow debutant Richmond Asante. He was able to get victory in 11 fights in a row making a dominant performance by him. On 19 October 2002, at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, he challenged Dewsbury’s Steven Conway and got the victory.
This win made him established in the field and continued his journey of a win for the Lonsdale belt. He has turned as the European champion as well as WBO (World Boxing Champion) Champion.
