The handsome American actor Dennis Quaid got engaged with 26 years old Ph.D. student Laura Savoie. The couple began dating earlier this summer.
Talking about the comments being made about the 39-year age difference between him and his fiancée Laura Savoie. he said,
“No, it really doesn’t bother us,” he insisted. “Everyone comes from the perspective of their own life and so I can’t comment on the way they feel; I can’t even get angry.”
“I didn’t go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me,” he explained. “I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed.”
He continued,
“You have no control over who you fall in love with, I don’t fall in love easily. But I can’t let what a few people think control all that. I’ve been married three times and this is the final one, I know it is. I feel like I have a real partner in life.”
Previously he was linked with his P.J. Soles, Kimberly Quaid, and Meg Ryan who he called his “most successful relationship” to date. Meg Ryan whom he shared his 27-year-old son Jack Quaid together. Jack, is also an actor, he had worked for such films as The Hunger Games and Rampage.
