With a record-breaking contract signing, Ogunleye re-signed with the Bears for six years. During his six seasons with the Bears, Ogunleye was a pillar of their top-ranked defense. In 2005, Ogunleye played on the Bears’ defensive line and recorded ten sacks. During the 2006 season, Ogunleye led the Bears to Miami’s championship game.
He entered into a contract with the Houston Texans on September 14, 2010, following the termination of his contract with the Chicago Bears. He ended his professional career after the end of the 2011 season. His NFL career ended with 389 Tackles with 67.5 Sacks and 17 forced fumbles.
