Ayumu Goromaru is a Japanese rugby player who is the all-time leading scorer in Tier 2 and he also plays for French team Toulon including Japan National rugby union team. Ayumu was born on 1st March 1986 in Fukuoka, Fukuoka prefecture in Japan so currently he is 31 years old. With a height of 6 feet and 1inch and weight 98 kg he is a tall, handsome and young guy, he is considered as one of the best players in the history of Japanese rugby. Goromaru has a white face with black hair, black eyes, a slight beard and a prominent mongoloid face that is tiny eyes with smaller eyelids, flattened nose, and a moreover circular face. Bio
Ayumu’s Career began at a small age and his first international test was against Uruguay in 2005 when he was just 19 years old so became the second youngest player to play for Japanese national team. His second match was against Romania where he gave an unbelievable performance after which The Japan Times tagged him with the title The Face of the Future. Due to circumstances, he had to leave international rugby for four years from 2005 to 2009 but after the change of coach in 2009, he was recalled to play internationally for the team third time. He labored much harder after his return; this was proved by his scores as he scored 62 points in his first two matches against Kazakhstan and UAE. After this, he was able to set his place permanently as a side player and in that year he played 9 matches where he scored 158 points. In November of 2012, his goal kick became the reason for Japan’s first win against Romania and Georgia where he scored 36 points in these two matches. 2012 and 2013 became the year of victory for Goromaru as he was the leading scorer in Top League and also became the team of the season for the second time. In the internationals of 2013, he scored 36 points in a single match against the Philippines making it the biggest international rugby of 7 years and the third highest score by a Japanese player in any international match. The world cup of 2015 became the another turning point in his rising career where he scored 24 points in the match against South Africa and in 2016 he announced that he will be playing Super Rugby season with the Queensland Reds again in June 2016 he shifted to the French team Toulon and is now currently playing for it being one of the highest-paid players.
