Coco Malia Camille Hapaikekoa Ho was born in 1991 and her place of birth is in Honolulu, Hawaii, the United States of America. In addition to her nickname, she is also called Cokes and Flying Hawaiian. She was born to parents named Michael Ho (father) and Brian Ho (mother). She started surfing from her early age of seven being inspired and motivated by her family. Her father was a professional surfer who is known for being the 1982 Pipe Masters. Similarly, her Uncle named Derek Ho was 1993 World Champion. Coco Ho’s brother Mason Ho is too from the same profession who secured 1st Place Cold Water Classic ASP Pro Jr. in 2008. Mason played a crucial role in influencing Coco’s early surfing. Mason used to impress his little sister enjoying the fun of serving with the permission of their parents. Coco was raised in Oahu’s North Shore and has spent her childhood days mostly in surfing in Seven Mile Miracle.
Career and Professional Life
At the age of 8, she received her first sponsorship and was qualified the ASP Women’s World Championship Tour when she was 17 years old. She turned as the winner of the Rookie of the Year award in 2009.
Coco has made a great success in surfing within a few years. She has made numbers of victories including 2016 Supergirl Pro – Champion, 2011 World Qualifying Champion, 2010 Bahia Brazil, WQS 4 Star Champion, 2009 Ripcurl Search Portugal Champion and much more.
