Grace Cavert is the only wife of the administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Clarence William Nelson II (aka Bill Nelson). She has gained public recognition mainly through her husband who served as a United States Senator from Florida (2001-2019). Cavert and nelson married in 1972 indicating that the beautiful couple has spent more than 5 decades together.

She was one of the 15 women to be featured in a book called Washington Hostess Cookbook in 1990. This book was introduced as a guide to hosting a successful party.
