Career and Professional Life

Rose first attended Southwestern High School in Detroit from where he started his sports career. He was the teammates alongside future NBA players like Howard Eisley and Voshon Lenard. While being in the University of Michigan, he was with Wolverines which reached NCAA Finals games two times in 1992 and 1993. He was in the “Fab Five” by being the part of Wolverines coach Steve Fisher. He was also the small forward and leader of the Fab Five.

 

NBA’s Career

Rose has outstanding playing records for NBA where he played for six different teams. In the 1994 NBA draft, the Denver Nuggets selected him as the 13th overall. He played for Denver for two years and was traded to the Indiana Pacers. Jalen Rose has earned a total salary amounting $100,000,000 from his 13-year NBA career.

Jalen made a huge success in Indiana and helped the team to make its performing return after a disastrous 1996–97 season. He played a significant role in making the Indiana lead scoring in the 1999–2000 season. He averaged 18.2 points per game and earned the NBA Most Improved Player Award. The former basketball player’s nationality is American and regarding his ethnicity, he is Afro-American. He is living a happy married life with Molly Qerim since 20th July 2018. They started dating since July of 2016.
