He has amassed numerous prestigious awards including thirteen Emmy awards, four Edward R. Murrow Awards, the Best International Reporting Award and so on.
In addition to his news television role, he is also a pastor who was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. He has contributed to multiple churches and has served as a Sunday school teacher, deacon’s board chairman, men’s ministry leader and so on. In April 2011, he established his own ministry. He formally incorporated Unity Temple Church of God in Christ, Inc. on June 1, 2011.

Revish was born in 1949 and his place of birth is in Youngstown, Ohio, the United States of America. Talking about his family background, he was born to the parents named Dewey and Estelle Revish. His father Dewey used to work as a steelworker whereas his mother used to look after the family as a housewife.
He was enrolled at the East High School from where he earned his graduation in 1967. Later, he attended Youngstown State University to accomplish his higher education. He was also associated with Chapman College in Orange, California. Revish has received support from his parents but information regarding his siblings and childhood facts are still missing.

Career and Professional Life
Revish started his career by working at WBBW-Radio in Youngstown, Ohio in 1872. Initially, he was hired as a board operator and was quickly able to impress his superiors. Later, he joined WBNS-AM/FM Radio in Columbus, Ohio and was assigned the post of general assignment reporter as well as an assignment editor. In 2980, he was appointed as the newscaster for WBNS-TV from which he became popular among the viewers.
In 1990, he appeared reporting from Saudi Arabia about the Persian Gulf War. He was also seen covering several highlight news including Desert Shield Diary. He was able to make Midwest Regional Emmy Award in his name in 1991. He also became the award-winner for presenting a documentary as well.
In 1992, he was appointed as a co-anchor for WBNS-TV and has also served various programs like 5 PM, 6 PM and 11 PM news. He received the NABJ’s Best International Reporting Award for his story A Return to Haiti: Rebuilding Paradise in 1996. During his journalism career, he has traveled to several corners in the world and has reported from countries like Japan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Barbados and South Africa.
The American journalist is also the founder of The Columbus Association of Black Journalists where he has provided his helping hands to Columbus based minority students. For this, he has been running Revish High School Journalism Workshop. He is most active in his hometown and has proven to become an influencing personality for upcoming youths.
