Is Jonathan Scott married? Yes, he was. His first wife’s name is Kelsy Ully, a WestJet crew scheduler with whom he enjoyed his wedding life for about six years and got divorced in 2013. Their conjugal life was surrounded by misunderstanding and disputes which compelled them to separate with mutual agreement. After Kelsy, he met Jacinta Kuznetsov at a charity gate in September 2015. Born as John Ian Scott, he landed the planet on April 28, 1978, which makes Jonathan’s age be 42 years old as of 2020. His nationality is Canadian and is recognized for being one of the established television personalities and is also an illusionist, contractor and film producer. Most of the people recognize him for contributing as the co-host of the television series entitled Property Brothers with his twin brother named Drew Scott.
He is also the co-founder of Scott Brothers Entertainment with his brother where he has been serving as an executive producer and is involved in creating television programs, movies, and digital content for worldwide broadcasters. With his brother, he launched a lifestyle brand named Scott Living.

Early Life and Education
Jonathan and his twin brother Drew were born in 1978 and their place of birth is in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is four minutes older than his younger brother Drew. He is the second child to his parents named James Scott (father) and Joanne Scott (mother). He has an elder brother named JD. His father James was from Scotland who migrated to Canada in his teenage days with a dream of being a cowboy. James started working as a stuntman, actor and also as a film-director until the 1970s. Similarly, Jonathan’s mother Joanne used to work as a paralegal.
Jonathan was raised up in a supportive family where his father encouraged his all children to get a job in an early age. The twins initiated business with Joanne named JAM which used to produce hangers made up of nylon. They were recruited by C$10 a gig after finishing their classes with the local Parks and Recreation Department. Jonathan also developed an interest in the magic show and was mainly inspired by a show named New Year’s Eve.
At the age of 10, he started creating his own magic props keeping everyone amazed by his outstanding performances. As a teenager, he started creating large-scale illusions and also went to study the Tarbell Course in Magic where he was mentored by illusionists David Wilson and Shawn Farquhar. At the age of 16, he received the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians award as the 3rd Best Stage Performer after joining the I.B.M. and Vancouver Magic Circle.
At the age of 14, he and his father James moved to Alberta where they started building the family’s dream house. This made his grade being declining and therefore Jonathan returned back to his hometown to complete his high school. During the school’s vacation and holidays, he used to help his father in construction alongside his best friend named Pedro. Jonathan and Drew both were active on sports as well where they were a good player of basketball and volleyball while attending the Thomas Haney Secondary School. After their graduation, they settled in their newly constructed house. After his high school graduation, Scott went to the University of Calgary where his major subject was business management.
Career and Professional Life
While being in their college in the first semester, the twins purchased a seven-bedroom property with 250 USD down payment and they repaired the property and sold it after a year generating a profit of 50,000 USD.
Later, Jonathan moved back to Vancouver and continued his journey in the large-scale illusion and set a goal of creating a touring theater show. Scott was approached by a fellow magician with whom Scott agreed to rent some of his illusions but that man stole Jonathan’s entire production leaving him to bear the financial liabilities of 80,000 USD. Though he gained a successful lawsuit, he was unable to recover the things which he really owed. This made Jonathan fall into depression but never told about the problems with his parents. His brother Frew helped him out to come from the depression and made him join as a flight attendant at WestJet.
This made him switch his focus in construction and design and therefore was transferred to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. After studying at the Home Builders Institute of Alberta, he turned as a licensed contractor. The twin renovated numerous properties and sold them and made a great fortune from that business which they continued for more than 16 years. In addition to that business, they were also involved in another different profession to support themselves like a store manager, website designer, mall cop and flight attendant.
The twins and their elder brother together founded a film production company in 2002 which was entitled Dividian Production Group. He was engaged in real estate programs and obtained the license from there. The twins founded a company entitled Scott Real Estate Inc. which was mainly involved in buying, repairing/ renovating and selling houses.
The three Scott brothers appeared as a radio show host for the show Off Topic with the Scott Brothers. The twins created Scott Living, an outdoor furniture line that was launched in 2015 on QVC. The products from the furniture line are available on various retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond, Costco and Orchard. The brand made total revenue of 100 million USD by 2016. The brand also extended as Dream Homes especially designed for clients above millions of budget.
The twins also entered into the music industry by recording two singles entitled “Hold On” and “Let the Night Shine In.” Both the songs were c0-written by them, Chad Carlson and Victoria Shaw. The first single “Hold On” successfully entered into the Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart at number 38 and received more than 5 million views in its music video on Vevo. Continuing their musical journey, they also released they are third single entitled My House on January 12, 2017. The kind brothers declared that the profit generated from the single would be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Scott’s first wife was Kelsy Ully and their marriage ceremony was organized in July 2007. The professional life interfered in their relationship and thus the couple separated after six years of their conjugal life. Scott was unable to socialize due to depression for about six months but returned back to his normal life, all the credit goes to his supportive brother.
Later, Scott started dating Jacinta Kuznetsov. He got engaged with his girlfriend on December 13, 2016. Their relationship came to an end which was announced in April 2018. Despite remaining married for more than six years, he never welcomed a baby with his first wife. he is in a serious relationship with his partner Zooey Deschanel.
