Born as Marco James Reus, he landed the planet on 31 May 1989, which makes his age be 31 years old as of 2020. By profession, he is a German national footballer well-recognized for playing forward for his team. He also plays for Borussia Dortmund where he has been serving as the team’s captain.
He spent his early playing career at Borussia Dortmund and then joined Rot Weiss Ahlen. In 2009, he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach. Later, he joined his home club Borussia Dortmund and played a crucial role for the team to reach the 2013 UEFA Champions League Final.

Career and Professional Life
At the age of five, he started playing for his hometown club Post SV Dortmund. He played for Borussia Dortmund for a long time until he left for Rot Weiss Ahlen’s U-19 team in 2006. He used to play as an attacking midfielder. He continued his successful journey in the football world.
He grabbed a signing deal opportunity signed a four-year contract with Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach which was concluded on 25 May 2009. Reus played for four matches during the qualification for UEFA Euro 2016 where he scored once in a 2–0 defeat of Georgia. Because of suffering a groin injury, he wasn’t selected for the tournament.
He made his comeback to international match on 2 June 2018, in a friendly match against Austria. He was selected for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on 4 June 2018 in the 23-man final squad. He mad his first world cup appearance on 17 June 2018, in a match against Mexico. Germany lost the match by 1-0.
His first world cup goal came on 23 June where he scored against Sweden. In the last stage group match, Germany lost to South Korea and was knocked out from the tournament on 27 June.
