Megan played for Elk Grove Pride in the WPSL from 2002 to 2005 along with her twin sister. She scored an equalizer goal in a match against the Peachtree City Lazers during the US Youth Soccer National Championships. With her twin sister, she attended the University of Portland in Portland. She also played for the United States in the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship.
She was selected by the Chicago Red Stars in the 2009 WPS Draft for the inaugural season of WPS, the highest division of soccer in the United States at the time. She signed with expansion team Philadelphia Independence in December 2010. Later, she signed with the Australian W-League team Sydney FC in October 2011 for two games as a guest player.
