He has coached renowned tennis players like Marcos Baghdatis (born on 17 June 1985), Julia Vakulenko, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Yanina Wickmayer, Jérémy Chardy, Laura Robson and Grigor Dimitrov.

Mouratoglou coached Marcos Baghdatis from 1999 when he was invited to his Tennis Academy in October 1999. He coached him to the final of the 2006 Australian Open. According to Mouratoglou, Baghdatis was not an athlete as all. His coaching made Baghdatis turned as a junior world No. 1 and later reach the world’s top ten in 2006.

Under his coaching, Aravane Rezaï entered the world’s top 20 in 2010 season. On the other hand, Wickmayer made her career-high ranking in April 2010 at world No. 12. In August 2010, he stopped coaching Rezaï and also stopped working with Wickmayer in April 2012.

He started serving as the coach to Laura Robson (born on 21 January 1994) in December 2010 and together worked for six months. He also coached Jérémy Chardy (born on 12 February 1987) in his academy.

He also started coaching Grigor Dimitrov (born on 16 May 1991) in March 2012 and their association ended by the September of the same year. After that, he started coaching Serena Williams.
