She also received the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1984 box office smash Gremlins as Mrs. Ruby Deagle. She appeared in a revival of Arthur Laurents’s The Time of the Cuckoo at Lincoln Center in 2000.

I personally knew Polly’s Mother she lived down the road from my best friend in Childersburg and she was a good friend to my great aunt in sylacauga she even gave her a cat that use to belong to her mother.
