Odell was born in 1990 and his place of birth is in Chichester, West Sussex, England. Talking about his family background, he was born to the parents named Timothy Peter Odell (father) and Caroline Mary (mother). The following month, he made his debut in television as a performer on a music television show titled Later… with Jools Holland. He was selected for the BBC Sound of 2013 as one of the 15 nominees in early 2013.
