Karina Gould started working in 2010 with the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C as a consultant. She used to work for Migration and Development Program. When she was back to Burlington, Karina worked as an investment specialist in Toronto. She became the candidate for the Canadian federal election, 2015 which was held on October 19, 2015. Karina was one of the candidates for the Liberal Party which was led by Justin Trudeau. The party got victory over 184 seats which made Justin the next prime minister with the majority government.

 

Karina Gould was too active in the election campaign and mostly attracted the minors. She defeated over Mike Wallace by attracting 46% of votes towards her. Mike was behind the Gould by just 3.5% by earning 42.5% of votes in his favor. The Liberal Party’s government made Gould the parliamentary secretary to the “Minister of International Development and La Francophonie”. At the beginning of the year, i.e. January 10, 2017, Gould was appointed as the Minister of Democratic Institutions and also turned as the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada.
