After a one-off WWE appearance, he moved to Global Force Wrestling where he made his debut at the GFW Amped taping on July 24, 2015, where he lost to Bobby Roode. He lost to Joey Ryan at the GFW Amped taping. He participated in the three-way number one contenders match along with Brian Myers and Kongo Kong where he lost.

He appeared in multiple dark matches for Lucha Underground from 2015 to 2016. His debut for Lucha Underground was recorded on December 13, 2015, where he defeated Vinny Massaro.
