Finally, happiness walks into the UFC strawweight fighter Mackenzie Dern life.
On Monday night, she gave a birth daughter Moa. She shared her happiness through her Instagram account by posting one of her photos where her boyfriend Wesley Santos is holding their baby in the hospital. She added to photo,
“Our daughter, Moa, is here!” Dern wrote. “June 9th at 8:25 pm! A little late, stubborn, American/Brazilian, beautiful, perfect, God’s gift and our family’s biggest pride! Delivery was smooth and I had the most important people by my side! Welcome here, my baby girl! We love you so much!”

After the birth she shared another photo where she was holding her baby and she wrote:
“My biggest motivation! Thanks for coming to watch me train today baby! || obrigada por vir me assistir treinar minha Linda!! Minha maior motivação!!🏼🏼 #ufc #backsoon #ufcbrasil#voltandoembreve”
Recently, in May of 2018 at UFC 224, earning a submission Dern(7-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) defeated Amanda Cooper after missing the strawweight limit by seven pounds. After two months, she made her promotional debut with a split-decision victory over Ashley Yoder at UFC 222.
The Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace has tussled to make weight since making the move to pro-MMA in 2016, she is unbeaten so far in seven fights, including two UFC appearances.
