Last Updated on June 14, 2019 by Noah Anusta

After several ups and down in a relationship Rachael Leigh calls for quits!

In a heart felt statement on Thursday, the “She’s all That” star announced her split with her husband Daniel Gillies through her Instagram post, with a plain heart emoji and a caption.

“With deep gratitude for every year we have spent together and the thousands of beautiful memories shared, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. This decision isn’t one we have come to easily or lightly.”

She further adds,

“We love and respect each other as parents, people and artists and look forward to maintaining the best parts of our relationship for many years to come. Your discretion in this matter is kindly requested for the sake of our children during this time of transition.”

The pair were seeing each other since 2001. After four years of continuous dating they finally got married in 2004.

From the wedding the duo has two children, a daughter Charlotte Easton Gillies, born on September 13 and son Theodor Vigo Gillies, born on April 2015.
