Rhona Natasha Mitra, professionally known as Rhona Mitra, is an English model, actor, singer, and songwriter. Widely popular as one Lara Croft model, Rhona is aka Eden Sinclair of the film Doomsday and Dr. Rachel Scott in a TV show The Last Ship. She was born on 9th August 1976 in Hampstead, London, England. She is of mixed race as her father, Anthony Mitra, a cosmetics surgeon is of Bengali Indian descent and mother, Nora Downey, is Irish. Rhona carries white ethnicity and British nationality. Mitra started her career by portraying Scheherazade in her debut movie A Kid in Aladdin’s Palace, a fantasy adventure for children in 1997. In the same year, she appeared in an interactive video game series called Tomb Raider as the live action model for Lara Croft. Due to the role of Lara Croft, she became able to place her name to No. 46 on Maxim Hot 100 Women 2001 list.
