He continued his feud with Triple H whom he defeated on April 30, at Backlash making him earn his fourth WWF Championship, he defended his title against Shane on the following night of Raw beating him in a Steel Cage match. He faced Triple H at Judgment Day on May 21, 2000, where Shawn Michaels served as the special guest referee. Rock was disqualified when Undertaker attacked Triple H. He earned the WWF Championship for the fifth time on June 25 by defeating Shane McMahon, Triple H and Vince McMahon after teaming with Kane and The Undertaker. He defended his title against Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle and Triple H.
On October 22, 2000, he lost the title to Kurt Angle. Later, he feuded with Rikishi whom he defeated at Survivor Series on November 19, 2000.
