Dancing with the Stars
Chmerkovskiy has made a great breakthrough television show Dancing with the Stars. First, he appeared in the show on February 10, 2006, the second season as his brother’s student during week 6. The students on the show were Sergei Onik & Michelle Glazarov, Valentin & Valeriya Kozharinova and Boris Leokumovich & Nicole Volynets.
On the fourth season of the show, he made his another appearance on May 8, 2007. On season 10, he was seen on April 6, 2010, and performed on the country western themed routine with Edyta Śliwińska, Snejana Petrova and his brother Maksim. On October 5, 2010, he has seen on the season 11 results show where he performed music and danced together with Mark Ballas. He was seen playing the violin while dancing to the song “Toxic” by Britney Spears.

With television star/ R&B singer Tamar Braxton, he was partnered for season 21. However, his partner Braxton withdrew from the competition on November 11, 2015, because of her health issues. He partnered with meteorologist Ginger Zee for season 22 and reached to the finals securing the third place.
