The deal with Fueled by Ramen made the band released their first album, All We Know Is Falling which was missing Davis who was replaced by John Hembree at that time.

By rejoining the band, he started working for the band’s second album titled Riot!. They continued their journey by releasing the third album called Brand New Eyes on September 29, 2009. On April 5, 2013, they released a fourth studio album called Paramore which was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (born on March 26, 1970).

His departure plan from the band was announced on December 14, 2015. The same year, he played bass on the B.o.B. song ‘Violet Vibrato’ for which he was also the co-producer. He also went for a legal battle for the ownership and authorship of the songs of the band.
