“Imagine having a vital organ replaced. Imagine having 16 surgeries, going to hundreds of doctors’ visits and taking thousands of pills. Imagine losing crazy weight because of dialysis, medication side effects, and stress. Then imagine, having to do it all over again. This time keeping it quiet while you recovered, all while trolls on the internet judged you for your appearance.”
While the gorgeous is on regular anti-rejection medicines and steroids to ensure that her body does not reject her donated kidney; consequently. Further, she had to take care of her weight and muscle mass and has been put on bed-rest several times, sometimes continuing to film Modern Family simultaneously. Overall she had to go under the 16 surgeries to improve her health, including numerous kidney surgeries and laparoscopic surgery to treat her endometriosis.
