Khatiwada was born in 1995 and her place of birth is in Hetauda, Makwanpur District which falls in Province No. 3 of Nepal. She was born to the parents named Birodh Khatiwada (father) and Munu Sigdel (mother). Talking about her parents, her father is from the political field who is the leader of the CPN (UML) and was elected as one of the members of the central parliament from Hetauda Constituency No. 2 for the fourth time in 2017’s general election. Similarly, her mother is too from the political background who is known for being the President of CPN (UML), Makwanpur District. Further, she is also contributing as one of the members of state parliament of Province No. 3 in Nepal. The family has a beautiful house in Thalsikhel, Lalitpur where Shrinkhala and her parents reside happily.
