Career and Professional Life
In January 2019, Courtney Force announced her retirement from her professional drag racing career. But before leaving the speed world, she has created several records and amazed everybody by her jaw-dropping performances.
First, she received NHRA competition driver’s license in 2005 and after three years she obtained her Alcohol-Fuel license. With her sister Brittany, she went to participate in Super Comp even before graduating to TA/D.
In 2009, she entered the final round twice at Pomona and Seattle where she grabbed the victory. Courtney has competed against her sister Brittany on three occasions and has always beaten her.
During the Pomona Raceway in 2009, she made her career-best with .006 of time in the final event.

She received her NHRA Funny Car license after testing a Funny Car during the 2011 Season. The remote control model manufacturer Traxxas became the primary sponsor of Force’s rookie season which was announced on January 10, 2012.
At the 52nd annual O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals, she made her first appearance in the Funny Car where she qualified twelfth. With a pass of 4.204 seconds at 497.72 km/h, she got victory over Bob Tasca III in the first round of eliminations.
However, she lost to teammate Mike Neff in the following round despite setting her career-best record of 4.143 ET at 505.14 km/h (313.88).
